The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) recently announced the selection of the organization's 2019 Women's Division III All-America Team.

Comprised of 38 total student-athletes, the team features players from 18 institutions including all nine Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) institutions as Pomona-Pitzer (five), California Lutheran (five), Redlands (three), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College (CMS) (two), Occidental (two), La Verne (two), Whittier (two), Caltech (one), and Chapman (one) combined for 23 selections.

Headlining the team is 2019 Division III Player of the Year and First Team goalie Bailey Meyer of 2019 SCIAC Postseason Tournament champion Cal Lutheran, while Regals' head coach Craig Rond was voted the Division III National Coach of the Year for the third time (2007, 2009). Meyer was a First Team All-SCIAC honoree, while Rond and his staff were also named the SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year at the end of April.

Joining Meyer on the All-America first team are teammates Lexi Rond and Nikki Roed, Pomona-Pitzer's Natalie Hill and Anna Yu, La Verne's Guarina Garcia, Redlands' Katelyn Jenkins, and Sawyer Belville of Whittier. Hill was voted the SCIAC Athlete of the Year and a First Team All-SCIAC selection, while Rond, Yu, Garcia, Jenkins and Bellville all earned first team all-conference recognition. Roed was tabbed Second Team All-SCIAC.

The Sagehens' Morgan Stockham, CMS's Amelia Ayala, La Verne's Jassmine Kezman, and Whittier's Teresa Marchetti each earned Second Team All-America status as Stockham, Kezman and Marchetti were each previously named first team all-conference, while Ayala was voted to the second team.

Honorable Mention All-American praise went to Kelly Grosswendt and Kolby Kahahawai of Redlands, Mardell Ramirez and Victoria Rose Meek of Cal Lutheran, Claudia Oppermann and Abigail Lavold of Occidental, Nadia Paquin and Kyla Pickell of Pomona-Pitzer, Katie Johnston of Caltech, Audrey Hattori of Chapman, and Aracelia Aldrete of CMS. Aldrete, Grosswendt, Paquin, and Pickell were each named Second Team All-SCIAC earlier this Spring.
