Cal Lutheran Women's Water Polo Falls to Pacific in NCAA Tournament

The California Lutheran women's water polo team, representing the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) in the NCAA Tournament, fell 16-4 to Pacific Tuesday afternoon in preliminary round action. 

With the loss, Cal Lutheran closes its season with an overall record of 21-9. 

The Regals scored a goal in each quarter as Lexi Rond fired in two goals, while Nicole Roed and Mardell Ramirez each added a marker in the losing effort. 

Pacific, which held a 7-2 lead at intermission, pulled away with a five-goal third stanza. Kyra Christmas led the way for the Tigers with five goals, while Toula Falvey added three others to help seal the win.
