2018 SCIAC Women's Water Polo Athletes of the Week

Morgan McCracken
Senior • Attacker • Atherton, California


McCracken lifted Pomona-Pitzer to a 1-1 week to start the 2018 season, helping the Sagehens to a 9-8 victory over Concordia (Calif.), and a 21-3 loss to USC. McCracken led the team in the winning effort against Concordia with two goals, an assist and four steals, highlighted by the game-winning score with under two minutes to play in the fourth quarter.

McGee paced Cal Lutheran to a 2-0 week as the Regals defeated Carthage, 12-4 and Cal State Monterey Bay, 6-2. McGee notched four goals and two assists in the win over Carthage before firing in five of the Regals’ six markers in the win over Cal State Monterey Bay in addition to recording three steals. Over the two-game span, she tallied nine goals on two shots.

McCracken helped pace Pomona-Pitzer to a 2-0 week that featured a 10-8 victory over Fresno Pacific, and a 10-9 overtime loss to Azusa Pacific. McCracken scored twice for the Sagehens in the win over Fresno Pacific, and added a four-goal effort in the loss to Azusa Pacific. This is McCracken’s second athlete of the week award of the season.

Hattori helped lead Chapman to a 4-3 week whose four wins included victories over McKendree, D1 St. Francis and a SCIAC win over La Verne, who was previously ranked fifth alongside the Panthers. Audrey scored 15 goals over the seven-game span with four assists, 12 steals and four drawn exculsions. Her week was highlighted by a season-best five-goal effort in the win over the Leopards.

Women's Water Polo Weekly Release #4

La Verne
First-Year • Attack • Montebello, California


Kezman was terrific for La Verne in the Leopards’ 1-2 week. She collected eight goals, including four in a 10-6 victory over SCIAC rival Whittier. Against CMS, Kezman added four more scores, including three in the fourth quarter to erase a three-goal deficit before La Verne eventually fell to the Athenas, 10-7.
