2017 Women's Water Polo All-Conference Team

The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) has announced its 2017 women's water polo end of the year awards, as voted upon by the league's 9 head coaches. The awards include the Athlete of the Year, Newcomer and Coaching Staff of the Year, the Sportsmanship Team and First Team and Second Team. 

Christina Williamson from Pomona-Pitzer was named the 2017 Athlete of the Year after leading the Sagehens to the SCIAC Championship. She notched 34 goals overall with eleven of those coming in conference play. The co-captain was second in drawn ejections on her team and was only excluded nine times all season.  

Andi Sandoval was named the 2017 Newcomer of the Year and had an immediate impact for Chapman offensively. The lefty driver had 20 goals and 27 assists this season. She also accounted for 25 steals on the year. 

Cal Lutheran and head coach Craig Rond were named the 2017 SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Regals to 15-13 overall record which produced its best record with 15 wins since 2012. Cal Lutheran finished fourth in SCIAC going 6-5.
