Offensive Athlete of the Week

Name: Amanda Walker
School: Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Year: Senior
Position: Opposite
Hometown: Newport Beach, Calif.

Amanda Walker led Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) to a 3-0 win over No. 1 Emory, a 3-1 victory over Washington (Mo.) and a tough, 3-1 loss to Juniata. Walker hit at a .326 clip for the week averaging 3.64 kills per set en route to 40 kills over the three matches. She also added nine total blocks - averaging 0.82 blocks per frame.

Name: Ally Busch
School: Redlands
Year: Junior
Position: Libero
Hometown: Long Beach, Calif.

Ally Busch was terrific for Redlands despite a 1-3 week for the Bulldogs. Redlands earned a 3-2 win over Arcadia, before falling to Cortland, 3-0, Rowan, 3-2, and Swarthmore, 3-0. The junior libero tallied 117 total digs through four matches and averaged 7.31 digs per set while also adding four aces. Her strongest performance came against Rowan when she registered 43 digs.
