Offensive Athlete of the Week

Name: Vicky-Marie Addo-Ashong

Vicky-Marie Addo-Ashong led Pomona-Pitzer to a 4-0 showing at the Pacific Coast Classic that featured sweeps over Dallas, Benedictine, and Kean, and a 3-2 win over Wentworth. Addo-Ashong led the Sagehens with a .348 hitting percentage on the strength of 40 kills (2.86 per set). She added 17 digs (1.21 per frame), and finished with 10 total blocks. Addo-Ashong logged 11 kills against both Wentworth and Kean to highlight the effort.

Hometown: Los Altos, Calif.

Sarah Tritschler helped Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) to a 3-1 week at the Pacific Coast Classic as the Athenas defeated Carroll (Wis.), 3-0, Dallas, 3-0, St. Olaf, 3-1, and fell to Augsburg, 3-2. Tritschler notched 93 total digs averaging 6.20 digs per set to help lead CMS's defensive efforts. She also dished out 29 assists (1.93 per frame). Against Augsburg, she totaled 30 digs, and added 29 in the win over St. Olaf.
