After four rounds of action, competition at the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas has concluded. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) and Redlands - representing the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference - finished fourth and 10th.
New York University carded a four-day total of 1217 including a 294 on Friday to capture the team title. Williams finished second with 1222, while Methodist placed third at 1232. CMS finished just one stroke out of third at 1233, while Redlands logged a combined score of 1267.
Cordelia Chan of Williams won the individual title with a four-day mark of 296 highlighted by a 72 on Friday. NYU's Arshia Mahant (297) and Rhodes' Emily Salamy (298) took second and third, while the Athenas' Amy Xue moved up the leaderboard with a 72 on the final day of action tie for fourth place overall with a 301.
CMS's Kelly Ransom and Redlands' Keilee Bessho tied for 13th overall, while Annie Hay and Mira Yoo tied for 15th with respective totals of 308 and 309. Taylor Beckwith of Whittier, playing as an individual, totaled 311 shots over the four-day tournament and tied for 22nd overall.
