With 54 holes played, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) has moved into third and Redlands is in 11th place at the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. Final round action is slated for Friday, May 17.
Williams is currently holding the top position on the team leaderboard with a combined score of 915 after three rounds, followed by New York University (923) and CMS (926) of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). Redlands is the league's other representative and is currently in 11th with 959 strokes.
CMS's Amy Xue is tied for eighth on the individual leaderboard with a score of 229, while teammate Mira Yoo is tied for 12th after carding a three-day total of 230. Playing as an individual, Whittier's Taylor Beckwith is 16th overall with a 54-hole mark of 232.
Also in the top 20 is the Athenas' Emma Kang (233) and the Bulldogs' Annie Hay (233) who are tied for 17th, while Kelly Ransom of CMS and Keilee Bessho of Redlands are each tied for 20th at 234.
After three rounds, just 15 teams advance to the final round. Emily Lewis of Chapman also concluded play at the championship and finished with 242 shots (78-78-86).
