Four Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) football student-athletes were named to the Good Cloud Academic All-District Teams as selected by CoSIDA.

Blake Roy and Christian Godina of Redlands, and Austin Prather and Elan Harris of Pomona-Pitzer represent the SCIAC as All-District selections in 2018, and as an All-District honoree, each student-athlete will progress to the national All-America ballot, which will be announced in December.

Roy, a tight end for the Bulldogs, is a Business Administration major with a 3.70 GPA, while his Redlands' teammate Godina is a Biology/Pre-Med offensive lineman with a 3.96 GPA. The duo helped the Bulldogs to a share of the SCIAC championship posting a 6-1 record in conference play, and an 8-2 record overall ledger in 2018.

Pomona-Pitzer's Prather is also an offensive lineman majoring in Public Policy who boasts a 3.84 GPA. Harris, a defensive back for the Sagehens, is a Biology major with a 3.64 GPA. Together, the duo helped Pomona-Pitzer to a 7-3 overall record that was highlighted by a 5-2 mark in league play.

District 8 is the largest district recognized by Academic All-America and is comprised of 21 U.S. states and all participating institutions in Canada. The Academic All-America program recognizes student-athletes with a minimum 3.30 GPA and significant athletic contribution to their team, as voted on by members of CoSIDA.
