SCIAC Swim & Dive Represented on CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference saw thirteen programs be named to the fall College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of American (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team.  This award recognized teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the 2016 Fall Semester.

 On the men’s side Pomona-Pitzer led the SCIAC institutions with a 3.50 followed by Occidental (3.43), La Verne (3.31), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (3.27), Chapman (3.19) and Redlands (3.06).  On the women’s side Pomona-Pitzer was second overall in Division III with a team GPA of 3.69 second best to MIT’s 3.72.   Occidental and Whittier both posted a combined GPA of 3.43 while Chapman, La Verne and CMS recorded a team GPA of 3.38 while Redlands earned a 3.34.
