Tave ran the fastest 10,000 meter race in the NCAA (all divisions) this year at the Occidental Distance Carnival on Friday night. Her time of 36:04.27 is an NCAA qualifying mark, the second fastest in CMS and SCIAC history and the fastest time in 26 years. She averaged 5:48.3 per mile for the 6.21 mile race. The two halves of her race (17:50, 18:14) are the second and third fastest 5K's in the SCIAC this year. Although a sophomore, this is her first season of collegiate track.
