SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the Week:  Redlands' Natalie Krzmarzick

Congratulations to University of Redlands' Natalie Krzmarzick for being named the SCIAC Female Athlete of the Week!

Junior Natalie Krzmarzick (Yucaipa, CA) clinched the Bulldogs' 5-4 upset of fourth-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Saturday with her outstanding doubles and singles contributions.  In doubles, she teamed up with sophomore Kaleena Wakamatsu at the #2 position, earning a solid 8-5 win.  In singles, Redlands looked to her to pull out a third-set tiebreak victory to seal the team's 5-4 win.  She came from behind to defeat her opponent at #6, 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (5).
