Cal Lutheran's Sinead Vaughan Named NSCAA All-American
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran senior Sinead Vaughan was named to the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-America Third Team. This season marks the second straight year she was named a third team selection.

Vaughan repeated all three post-season awards she received as
a junior. She was named the SCIAC Player of the Year, All-West
Region First Team and All-America Third Team. The senior midfielder
is one of 10 individuals on this year’s list to earn repeat
All-America honors.
Vaughan joins elite company as the third player in Cal Lutheran history to earn multiple All-America Team honors. She is the first to do it since Lara Philby earned third team and first team honors in 1996 and 1997, respectively.
The 41 athletes will be recognized at the annual All-America
Luncheon, to be held in the Kansas City Convention Center's Grand
Ballroom on Saturday, Jan. 14, in conjunction with the 2012 NSCAA
Convention in Kansas City, Mo.
