Cal Lutheran's Dingman and Vaughan Named D3soccer.com All-Americans
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Seniors Sinead Vaughan and Jess Dingman were named to the 2011 D3soccer.com All-America Team. Vaughan earned second team honors as a midfielder and Dingman third team as a defender.
Vaughan, a midfielder from Simi Valley, Calif., earned her
second different All-America selection this season. She was earlier
named an NCAA Third Team All-American for the second time in as
many years. Vaughan started all 23 games this season and
contributed five goals and 12 assists.
Dingman, a defender out of Moorpark, Calif., received her
first All-America honor as part of the third team defensive unit.
She appeared in all 23 games and made 21 starts during her senior
season.
