Inaugural Championship Tournament |
|
The inaugural SCIAC Women's Soccer Tournament concluded with third seed Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (10-7-3) prevailing over top-seeded Redlands (13-4-1). The 2-1 victory earned CMS the SCIAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship where they will face the regions top-seed, UC Santa Cruz (15-0-3) during the first round on Wednesday November 11th. This will be the second trip to the NCAA Championship for CMS. In 2002, they won a shootout to secure the SCIAC's automatic bid for that season. |
