SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the Week:  Megan Thorpe, Cal Lutheran

The outside hitter was major part in the Regals undefeated week including a 3-1 victory over No. 22 La Verne, halting the 30-match SCIAC win streak in Leopards territory. To start the week, Thorpe recorded career-highs of 15 kills and 24 digs in the team's SCIAC opening 3-1 victory over Redlands. In a 3-0 sweep over the Poets, the junior smashed a team-best 13 kills and hit .444 in the match (13K-1E-27A). The junior helped to complete the SCIAC sweep with 16 digs and nine kills in the team's first win over La Verne since 2006. She led the team with 37 kills and 46 digs over the past week.
