SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the Week:  California Lutheran's Cori Hayes

The No. 19 ranked Regals went 3-0 in conference play this past week in large part to the outstanding play of junior Cori Hayes. She had 32 kills while hitting at a .588 clip (32K-2E-51A) and dished out 11 assists.  In the team's Saturday sweep over Pomona-Pitzer she hit at a .778 mark (14K-0E-18A) and recorded a block assist. Through six conference matches she is hitting .500 and is second on the team with 18 assists.
