SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the Week:  CMS' Helena Bottemiller

CMS:  Helena Bottemiller, Volleyball
The senior middle blocker from Burien, WA hit .450 and had nine blocks to lead CMS to a 3-2 win over national #1 Juniata.  She had nine kills and no errors on 20 attacks in the match.  Overall in the Leopard Tournament, where CMS faced the first, second and third ranked teams in the nation, she hit .321 (20 kills-3 errors-53 attacks) and had 13 blocks in 12 games.  Earlier in the week, she hit .474 (10-1-19) and added three blocks in the team's win over Occidental.  On the season, she it hitting .327 with 134 kills and leads the team in blocks with 49.  CMS is 14-9 overall and 5-2 in SCIAC.
