SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the Week:  Olivia Ellis, University of Redlands

Junior Olivia Ellis (Colfax, CA) pitched three complete games last weekend, leading the Bulldogs to the championship at the second-annual SCIAC Postseason Tournament. In 21 innings, she posted a 2.00 ERA with one shutout, allowing 19 hits and 6 runs overall. She struck out 17 batters and held the opponents to a .232 batting average. These wins brought Ellis' season total to 23 victories on the mound. Earlier last week, she was named to the All-SCIAC First Team for serving as the workhorse for the SCIAC Champion Bulldogs.
