SCIAC Honors Female Athlete of the
Week: La Verne's Morgan Dobis

Congratulations to University of La Verne's Morgan Dobis for
being named the SCIAC Female Athlete of the Week!
ULV: MORGAN DOBIS, SOFTBALL
A senior outfielder from Big Bear, Dobis hit (.615) while
collecting seven RBI in four games as the Leopards split with
nationally-ranked Whitworth along with a sweep of league opponent
Pomona-Pitzer. Dobis went 3-for-3 at the plate with a pair of
doubles in La Verne's 4-1 win over the #19-ranked Pirates on March
26. Five days later, she also smacked a two-run, go-ahead
single in the bottom of the sixth to lift the Leopards past
Pomona-Pitzer 4-3 en route to the sweep of the Sagehens. A
three-time First Team All-SCIAC selection, Dobis leads ULV in
batting average, RBI, hits and total bases.
