Competition continues with #2 Linfield College (35-5; OR) taking on #7 Hardin-Simmons University (29-14; TX), and concludes with the winner of game one facing top-seeded Louisiana College (33-9).
The tournament continues on Friday with four games, followed by Saturday's schedule of three games. On Sunday, the championship game will take place with a second game immediately following, if necessary.
Game times are still to be determined but are likely to be 10 a.m., 12 noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. or pushed back two hours to 12 noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., given that Louisiana College's field has lights.
The NCAA Championships, hosted by the City of Salem, Virginia and Old Dominion Athletic Conference, will be held May 18-22 at the James I. Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Virginia. The champion of this first-round site becomes the top seed at the finals.
