SCIAC Honors Male Athlete of the Week:  Pomona-Pitzer's Will Leer

Congratulations to Pomona-Pitzer's Will Leer for being named the SCIAC Male Athlete of the Week!    

PP:  Will Leer, Track & Field
Leer won two individual events at the 2007 SCIAC Track & Field Championships Saturday and Monday. The senior won the 800m in 1:52.38 and the 1500m in 3:55.42 -- both NCAA provisional qualifying marks. Leer has better marks, and currently stands #2 on the National qualifying lists in three events.  Leer also ran anchor on the men's 4x400m relay, covering one lap in 50.3--the fastest split of all four Pomona-Pitzer runners.
