SCIAC Honors Athletes of Week: CMS' Liang, Wang

The SCIAC Athletes of the Week have been named and the honorees are: CMS' Jeannine Liang (women's tennis) and Larry Wang, Tennis (men's tennis).

CMS: Jeannine Liang (Women's Tennis)
The senior from Palos Verdes led the Athenas to a third place finish at the NCAA Championships. She won both her singles and doubles match in the third place match - a 5-3 win over Trinity University. Liang also competed in individual singles and doubles at the NCAA Championships.

CMS: Larry Wang, Tennis (Men's Tennis)
The freshman from Orange advanced to the NCAA Championship semifinals with his doubles partner Gui Schils with straight set wins in the round of 16 and quarterfinals. Wang also won both his singles and doubles mat! ch in t he Stags 4-3 loss in the NCAA Quarterfinals. He also competed in individual singles at the Championships.
