Sophomore Jeremy Sanders (Chatsworth, CA) led the University of Redlands men’s golf team to a fifth-place finish at the 2012 NCAA Division III Championships last week in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. He provided a consistent performance throughout the tournament en route to a four-day total of two-over at 290 to tie for third place in the individual standings. During the tournament, he knocked in a total of 14 birdies and tied for the third-best showing on the par-fours with an average score of 4.08. Early last week, Sanders was named to the GCAA DIII PING All-West Region Team.
