LaVerne's Trevor Woodland Scores 1,000th Point
Trevor Woodland reached 1,000 career points against the University of Redlands in SCIAC men's basketball action Wednesday night.
Woodland, who finished with a team-high 25 points, scored 16 of his total by halftime en route to joining the 1,000 point club. Entering the game needing eight points to reach the mark, Woodland buried a three-pointer with 5:11 remaining in the first half to eclipse the 1,000 point mark.
A product of Damien High School, Woodland joins teammate Austin Napolitano as the program's newest members into the 1,000 point club. Napolitano reached the milestone a week ago against Occidental.
