Cal Lutheran’s Greg Grimm Joins 1,000 Point Club

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran senior Greg Grimm scored 20 points during Wednesday night’s 61-52 victory over Pomona-Pitzer to become the 24th Kingsmen in program history to score 1,000 or more points.

The fourth-year senior made four of his first five field goal attempts of the evening, with the first three coming from beyond the arc. The third triple came at the 14:20 mark of the first half giving CLU a 13-8 lead and pushing his career total to 1,001 points.

Grimm finished the contest with a game-high 20 points and currently stands at 1,012 with at least six more games on the schedule. Heading into the night the senior leads the conference scoring 18.2 points per game.
