SCIAC Honors Male Athlete of the
Week: La Verne's Rizal Amin

A junior from Temecula, Amin fired a 72 at to finish in a
tie for first place in leading eighth-ranked La Verne to victory at
the SCIAC #4 Tournament April 14 at Brookside Country Club in
Pasadena. A 2007 All-American and a 2008 finalist for the
Jack Nicklaus Award given to the nation's top golfer, Amin has
finished first or second in three of the four SCIAC Tournaments
this season.
