SCIAC Male Athlete of the Week: Occidental's Justin Goltz

Senior Tigers quarterback Justin Goltz engineered a four-touchdown, 28-point, third quarter on Saturday evening at Chapman en route to a 31-28 come-from-behind victory to keep the #20 Tigers undefeated at 5-0 this season. Finishing with a 184.29 pass efficiency rating, Goltz was 24-for-28 for 250 yards with his longest pass a 33-yard completion to Jason Lehman. In the third quarter alone Goltz was 11-for-12 passing for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Oxy was able to convert 4-of-4 third-down conversions during the quarter. He also added a 24-yard rushing touchdown (fourth rushing TD in four games) in the third quarter, accumulating 93 total yards on the ground in the game.
