University of Redlands Claims 2011 SCIAC Baseball Championship

With a 3-2 the victory over Whittier College on Friday, the University of Redlands Bulldogs secure sole possession of the 2011 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championship, making this the program's 11th title.

The team, currently ranked No. 18, wrapped up its SCIAC regular season today with a 13-2 win over Caltech. The Bulldogs scored seven runs over the first two innings en route to their 28th victory of the season and their eighth in the last nine games.
