The NCAA announced the qualified competitors for the 2018 Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on Saturday, May 19. Three members of the Pomona-Pitzer Men's Track and Field program and three members from the women's program qualified for the National Championships and will be competing at the Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin from May 24-26.
The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Andy Reischling as the recipient of the 2018 West Region Athlete of the Year. Reischling is already having a wildly successful season in which he won SCIAC Athlete of the Year and qualified for the NCAA in the 5000-meter and 10,000-meter runs.
The NCAA Division III Men?s Tennis Committee selected Jed Kronenberg of the Pomona-Pitzer Men?s Tennis program to compete in the singles competition of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men?s Tennis Championships. For the individual championships, the committee selected seven singles players from each of the four regions based on win-loss record, strength of schedule, and eligibility.

The committee selected seven singles players and three doubles teams from each region to participate in the individual competition, choosing based on win-loss record, strength of schedule, and eligibility.
Mark Hallman of the Pomona-Pitzer Men?s Swim and Dive program was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District At-Large Team selected by CoSIDA. This honor recognizes the nation?s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named 10 different athletes from the Pomona-Pitzer Men?s Track & Field Program to the All-Region list in 15 different events on Monday morning. This honor was given to the top-five individuals in each event from each region.
The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named three different athletes from the Pomona-Pitzer Women?s Track & Field Program to the All-Region list for four different events. This honor is awarded to athletes who finished within the top-five in their respective events in their region.
