WHITTIER AND CMS PARTNER WITH PRESTOSPORTS FOR WEB SOLUTION 

Whittier College and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps have partnered with PrestoSports for their web solution. Both institutions plan to launch the new site prior to the start of the 2007-2008 academic year. 

The site design for CMS is underway with plans their innovation new athletics web site later this summer.  "We have a very complex organization to serve with our web site.  I was especially impressed with the job PrestoSports has done for our athletic conference (SCIAC) and by the recommendation by our Executive Director who worked with them to build the site," CMS Athletic Director Michael Sutton said. "Early conversations with PrestoSports convinced me that we would get the support and service we'll need to allow CMS to develop a site that will serve our entire department operation, internally and externally.  I'm looking forward to seeing our rolled out product and how we can use our web site to better represent our athletic program and the variety of activities supported by our department."

After the unveiling of a new athletics logo, Whittier College Director of Athletics Robert Coleman stated their partnership with PrestoSports Is "vital as we continue to work toward enhancing our program's overall image . . . so reconstructing the athletics website represents another critical step in our effort to reach out to and stay connected with our alumni, team supporters, and members of our community."

"We're grateful for the opportunity to work with these first-class athletics programs," PrestoSports Vice President Patrick Summers said. "It means a lot to us to add another SCIAC program to the PrestoSports network."  The SCIAC partnered with PrestoSports and launched the new conference website earlier in the year.   

The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference was formed in 1915 and is composed of eight small private colleges and universities in the Southern California area.  The Conference and all eight members, whose fundamental principle is to encourage the highest ideals of amateur sports in an environment of high academic standards, are affiliated with NCAA Division III.  Its current members are:  California Institute of Technology, California Lutheran University, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, University of La Verne, Occidental College, Pomona-Pitzer Colleges, University of Redlands, and Whittier College.
